Early days in desert haze

Days 1 &2
In the sun and sand as guests of the UAE in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. After a short night tour of Abu Dhabi we settled in aloft at our hotel by 2:30am local time after a 14 hour flight from Sydney.
The humidity fogged our glasses within seconds at a cool 33 degrees from a top of 42. After a restless 5 or 6 hours we emerged from our rooms ready for a 13 hour tour of Dubai and the Beduin village as preparation for delivery back to Abu Dhabi airport for another 6 hour plus leg of the journey to Frankfurt. My longest day! Oh for a shower and a change of clothes as we felt sandy and sweaty. But it was all worth it, as the next few entries reveal our desert adventures in the UAE.
